I am Alex Dacre,

I study IT at the University of Technology, Sydney.

I believe in the power of the open internet to expand our universe and connect people. I am inspired to code to solve problems and to one day make positive social change.

When I'm not coding, I swing dance, either in a subconscious attempt to reclaim the glamour of the roaring 20s, or because it's fun to dress up and dance outrageously with a partner while a big band plays loud music. I board game because Settlers of Catan, barrack for the Swans, and enjoy delicious meals eaten with good beer or wine (or both) in the company of friends.
